Super8 is very much alive, video did not manage to finish it off in early 80's. Actually it's on the rise. It's cool to shoot film. Super8 looks much better than DV. Film sees the world the way you and I do, thru chemicals, not that artificial, flat and dead 0-1 way. Video chips can never, ever, achieve the resolution of real film. Why shoot video when you can shoot real film ? Shoot Super8. Accept no substitutes.
